AQUATIC LIGHTS

are among a collective of musicians who have their own individual projects, whether solo or as part of a group. Below is a nearly comprehensive list of our releases from alternate musical groups and solo endeavors.

In almost all ways, Aquatic Lights started with

Green Lemon

Green Lemon was an improvisational electronic rock band from Fort Collins, CO that toured the country coast to coast from 2002-2007 playing for thousands of fans.

As Green Lemon's era came to a close, two bands emerged from its membership - The Skys and Aquatic Lights.

Christopher Cox

Green Lemon's drummer

passed away in 2011. Everything that happens in the Aquatic Lights musical collective is dedicated to his beautiful soul

You are eternally missed Chris.

We love you.

IMAGINARY POINTS

This post-punk/psych-rock trio joins Russ McCurdy, Steve Schaben, and Kevin Campbell. In the fiery southern plains, the Points met the Devil at a crossroad, and asked for a bottle of bourbon and no additional talent.

VINNY & the JETS

Vinny and the Jets is the unholy brainchild of Lincoln & Andy. The group stands against all that is and was OK.  This irreverent duo produced some of the best garage trash-disco-rock ever known to man.  They will probably be putting out material every ten years until we all die...potentially from a Vinny and the Jets related death.

BADMAN

In 2007 Jesse and Jon moved to St Thomas USVI to start a whole new life and several new bands along the way including the reggae/pop high-energy spectacle that was 'Badman'.  Jesse and Jon were joined by dear friends Zan on guitar and Rob on drums.  In its latter years Badman added the incomparable David Gillaspie on Bass as Jesse moved on to other life pursuits.

FOUR HORSEMEN

While on a hiatus from touring with Green Lemon, Jesse and Jon moved to St Thomas, USVI to take a break from music - however the Universe had other plans. Jon and Jesse met Doyle Van Horn who inspired their rise into the acoustic guitar-backed 3-part harmony trio 'Four Horsemen' focusing on showcasing Doyle's powerful and unique singer/songwriter talents.

CSGAE

The extremely serious trio of Jesse, Jon, and Christopher Cox from Green Lemon went on a brief nostalgia-fueled rampage into the mascara-laden pop-punk, emo roots of their youth in the band CSGAE. Several live performances, scattered recordings, and presumably lives forever changed are all that remain of this skinny-jeaned relic.  This band was the predecessor to Badman.

LIP/GLIMJACK

A 4-piece experimental combo - Jon Schooler, Carlos Flores, Brian Esau & Kevin Campbell. Initially under the name Glimjack, LIP burned alive and seeded the scene for future constellations - like our friends MODA.
